On this blog, I'll be showing the progress as I plan and start to build out my Sn3 layout based upon the 1st District of the Rio Grande Southern. This layout will replace two existing layouts; a proto freelanced version of the Southern Railway in HO Scale and a proto freelanced version of a D&RGW in Sn3. The goal is to replicate 4 or 5 scenes of the prototype 1st District of the Rio Grande Southern circa 1940, with a bit of modeler's license here and there, as closely as possible given the available space.
